This has got to be hands down one of the most ridiculous things Duderino has ever read on these here internets...but apparently, Homosexual men and women (or "the gays" as they're known in the streets) are more likely than their straight counterparts to purchase their Car insurance online.
Yep, you read that correctly -- In a survey conducted by Harris Interactive (and if it wasn't them I might not believe it), Gay men and women were more than twice as likely to buy their car insurance online (17% compared to only 8% of the straight population). Furthermore, 33% of gay men and women said they "would switch their auto insurance provider if an alternative company offered domestic partnership benefits to its employees."
Well, duh. I mean, you guys didn't know that? What rock have you been living under?
Still no word on whether we can attribute this to the free Madonna box set Geico was offering with every new policy though...
